American Traveler is hiring a travel RN - Nursing Supervisor for a 13-week night shift position requiring 5+ years of staff nurse experience, leadership background, and an active MA RN license.

• Hospital-based nursing supervisor role overseeing multiple nursing units and departments
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week
• Schedule requires every other weekend and every other holiday
• Patient population spans infancy through geriatrics across multiple units and departments

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Nursing degree required: diploma, ASN, or BSN (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of staff nurse experience, including charge nurse responsibilities
• Leadership experience required
• ICU experience required
• Bed flow and transfer line experience required
• Must demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills to oversee care for patients ranging from infancy to geriatrics
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for coordination and supervision of patient care across multiple nursing units and departments on evening, night, and weekend shifts
• Serves as on-site hospital representative, managing operational and administrative activities during off-shift hours
• Provides clinical direction to staff and functions as a member of the Nursing Leadership Team
• Makes staffing decisions to ensure high-quality, cost-efficient patient care
• Establishes and maintains interdisciplinary communication and cooperation across departments
• Candidates must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or B); the test may only be taken twice
• Two professional references required on file: at least one must be listed at manager level or above (not supervisor), must include a performance evaluation, one within the last 12 months and one within the last 3 years; references from fellow travelers are not accepted
