American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Postpartum/Mother Baby (OB/GYN) position at a hospital in Washington, DC, requiring at least 2 years of US hospital experience and an active DC RN license.

Details

• Postpartum/Mother Baby unit within a hospital setting in Washington, DC
• Patient population includes postpartum vaginal delivery, C-section recovery, and GYN surgery patients
• 13-week contract with 36 hours per week
• Schedule is three 12-hour day shifts per week

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Required certifications (AHA-issued only): BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• CPI certification required for this position
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a US hospital in the specialty area preferred
• Postpartum/Mother Baby experience required
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
• BSN highly desired
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the most recent 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Valid government-issued photo ID and date of birth required for consideration

• Fulfills patient, family, and community needs across a variety of care functions within the scope of licensure and certification
• Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
• This is a Postpartum/Mother Baby position — it is not a Labor & Delivery assignment
