American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy Lab position requiring an active IL RN license, ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience including advanced therapeutic ERCP procedures.

Details

• Hospital-based GI/Endoscopy Lab with 3 procedure rooms and 4 prep/recovery bays
• Handles all GI diagnoses for both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Advanced therapeutic procedures performed including ERCP with hands-on opening, guide wire, and closing techniques
• High-volume, fast-paced environment requiring efficient scope flow management and quick turnovers
• Day shift: 06:15–16:45, four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday
• On-call required for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays — approximately 7–10 days per 6-week schedule

Requirements

• Active Illinois (IL) RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy RN experience required
• Advanced therapeutic ERCP procedural experience required, including hands-on opening, guide wire, and closing
• Preferred: Conscious sedation training, scope reprocessing training, and/or CGRN certification

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include managing patient sedation, coordinating scope flow, and facilitating fast room turnovers in a busy lab setting
• Scope reprocessing knowledge is a plus in this environment
