American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric ICU position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring at least 1 year of RN experience, Level 1 facility experience, and active AHA certifications.

Details

• Pediatric ICU setting within an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Level 1 experience required for this unit
• CVICU and NICU experience is preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license (OK state license or eNLC compact license) currently in hand
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Level 1 facility experience required
• Full DOB and full SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Responsible for managing an assigned patient group, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, and coordinating care with physicians and support staff
• Interacts with patients and families regarding care plans, discharge instructions, and hospital procedures
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a new contract (prior contracts are limited to one extension, for a maximum of 26 weeks total)
• Compliance deadlines are strictly enforced — onboarding requirements including drug screens and background checks must be initiated immediately upon acceptance of an offer
