American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring at least 1 year of experience and Level 1 PICU experience on night shifts.

Details

• Hospital-based Pediatric ICU (PICU) setting
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)
• Level 1 PICU experience is required
• CVICU and NICU experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Full Date of Birth (DOB) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care to pediatric ICU patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex
• Responsibilities include patient monitoring, administering medications, managing IV infusions and blood products, assisting physicians, and coordinating care with patients and families
• Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period after 26 weeks of total contract time before being eligible to return
• Compliance onboarding (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) must be initiated immediately upon acceptance of an offer — start dates will not be negotiated for non-compliance
