Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a surgical Intermediate Care (IMC) unit position requiring a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and prior IMC/PCU experience with surgical patients.

Details

• Hospital-based Intermediate Care (IMC) unit specializing in surgical, urology, and thoracic patients
• Multi-level care unit encompassing adult inpatient acute, telemetry, and intermediate care with continuous vital sign monitoring and some advanced monitoring
• Pre- and post-operative bedside surgical care provided on the unit
• Dysrhythmia management is required for this role
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Floating required to areas of like skill set within 11 West (IMC and Med/Surg levels)

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of current RN experience required
• Prior IMC/PCU experience with surgical patients required
• Dysrhythmia management competency required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience in a facility with 500+ beds required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month
• EPIC EMR experience is preferred but not required
• 1–2 prior travel assignments preferred
• Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
