American Traveler is hiring a traveling LPN for a VNA home care role requiring home care experience, an active MA LPN license, and AHA BLS certification for a 13-week assignment in Massachusetts.

Details

• Home health / visiting nurse association (VNA) setting providing skilled nursing care in patients' homes
• Works within an interdisciplinary team alongside RNs, PTs, OTs, and home health aides (HHAs)
• Provides 6 patient visits per day
• Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a 1-in-4 weekend rotation and one required weekend shift per month
• Uses Epic for charting
• Time keeping via UKG/Kronos

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts LPN license required; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted
• License required if applicable — both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing licenses
• Home care experience required
• Current BLS certification required — AHA only; Red Cross, CHSF, and Military BLS are not accepted for this location
• Flu vaccination required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs skilled nursing functions in accordance with the MA Nurse Practice Act, federal, state, and local laws, and within the scope of the LPN license
• Delivers patient care as delegated by the RN Case Manager and/or Clinical Team Manager
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but will be placed at a reduced rate
• No validated parking is available at Boston-area locations; public parking rates range from $17–$22 daily, and public transportation is recommended
