Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a Louisiana or Compact RN license and the ability to work night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

Details

• 12-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit in an inpatient hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Floating required to all inpatient units
• Alaris Pumps used on the unit
• No on-call responsibilities
• Block scheduling is not available on this unit

Requirements

• Active Louisiana or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
• Current ACLS certification required for charge nurse roles (must be AHA-issued)
• EKG/telemetry background preferred
• Less than 2 years of experience will be considered
• Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
