American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Outpatient Clinic Infusion position requiring chemotherapy certification and a minimum of 2 years of ambulatory infusion experience in an outpatient oncology setting.

Details

• Outpatient treatment center setting within a large, academic Level I Trauma Center system
• Oncology infusion unit focused on outpatient chemotherapy administration
• Typical caseload of 6–8 chemotherapy patients per shift
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekend, on-call, or float requirements
• Charting via Epic EMR
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active CT or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and Chemotherapy (ONS/ONCC)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an outpatient ambulatory infusion setting required
• Prior experience administering chemotherapy in an outpatient setting is required — candidates with inpatient-only experience will not be considered
• Candidates must not have any priors on their nursing license
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Administer chemotherapy and infusion therapy to oncology patients in an outpatient clinic environment
• Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required; religious or medical exemptions may be considered
• Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 2 years before being eligible as a traveler
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• RTO requires facility approval; up to 7 days may be auto-approved
• Royal blue scrubs required
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
