American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool ICU position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and night shift availability across multiple ICU specialties.

Details

• Critical Care Float Pool position within a large academic medical center
• Nurses float across multiple ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU
• Floating is required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Required to work 2 out of every 4 weekends
• EMR: Epic (proficiency required)
• Skills required: IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing across a variety of ICU settings as part of a float pool model
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• No break between assignments is required to change agency representation at this facility
