American Traveler is seeking a Chemo Certified Oncology RN for an outpatient infusion center position in Lacey, WA, requiring ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification and Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Outpatient infusion center setting serving oncology and non-oncology patient populations
• Approximately 85% hematology/oncology patients receiving chemotherapy or immunotherapy, and 15% non-oncology infusions including rheumatology, GI, neurology, and pulmonology
• Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (start times may vary between 7:15–7:45 AM; shifts may extend until the last patient is seen)
• No holiday or weekend requirements
• Floating between all facilities within Washington State is expected
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Chemotherapy certification through ONS or ONCC required
• BLS required; OCN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Outpatient oncology or infusion center experience required (inpatient oncology experience may be considered)
• IM and subcutaneous injection experience required
• Therapeutic phlebotomy experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and non-oncology infusions to a diverse patient population
• Former permanent staff of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities within Washington State may result in assignment termination
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
