American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Diagnostic Cardiology position in a Cardio Non-Invasive Lab setting, requiring a minimum of 2 years of cardiology experience and an active MI RN license.

Details

• Work setting is a Cardio Non-Invasive Lab within a hospital environment
• Primary focus is performing cardiac stress tests, with an expected volume of 4–8 stress tests per shift
• Day shift: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Full-time schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, 40 hours per week
• Block scheduling is not available, though the unit will make reasonable efforts to accommodate scheduling requests
• Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required

Requirements

• Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of cardiology nursing experience required
• Experience interpreting cardiac rhythms required
• Experience with cardiac testing preferred
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
• BSN preferred
• COVID vaccination is mandatory for employment at this facility

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Communicates pertinent patient and family information to the broader healthcare team and participates in resolving variances from patient goals
• Online orientation modules must be completed on-site prior to the start date, typically one week before the assignment begins
• All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Any time-off requests made after an offer is extended must be discussed with management once the assignment begins
• Two references and copies of certifications are required for consideration
