American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position in Ohio, requiring 2 years of Neuro ICU experience and AHA certifications, with a day/night rotating schedule including on-call responsibilities.

Details

• Neuro ICU unit within a large academic medical center
• Patient ratio of approximately 1:1-2
• 3x12-hour shifts rotating between days (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) and nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
• Day/night rotation occurs every 4 weeks, with every other weekend required
• On-call is required for this position
• Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Skills utilized include IV insertion, telemetry monitoring, ventilator management, and intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring
• Epic EMR is used in this setting

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required
• Proficiency with IV starts, telemetry, ventilators, and intracranial pressure monitoring
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

• No break between assignments is required to change representation at this facility (exception applies to Sterile Processing Techs, who require a 30-day break)
