American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neurosurgery/Neurology Med/Surg unit position at a prestigious academic medical center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of neuro med/surg experience.

Details

• Neuroscience and Epilepsy Monitor Unit focused on evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of intractable seizure disorders
• Neurology and neurosurgery setting treating complex patients from around the globe for innovative nervous system disease therapies
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a neurology and neurosurgery patient population
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Epic EMR (preferred, not required)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of neuro med/surg experience required
• Experience in a large hospital setting (500+ bed facility) required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
• Travel experience is preferred but not required
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
