Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma Center, with the ability to both scrub and circulate across a wide range of surgical specialties required.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of a 431-bed, short-term acute care Level II Trauma Center
• Must be able to scrub and circulate across multiple specialties including ortho/general, total joints, thoracic, robotics, neuro, trauma, ortho/spine, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, and dental (low volume)
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
• Schedule runs Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday
• No on-call requirements for this shift
• Floating within scope is not required
• Local candidates are accepted
• Charting is done in Epic
• Block scheduling is accommodated at manager's discretion

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS (BCLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Ability to both scrub and circulate is mandatory
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Time off requests must be submitted at the start of the contract; RTO is subject to manager's discretion
