Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric RN for a rotating shift position in a Pediatric Cardiac & Transplant unit with IMC and Med/Surg overflow, requiring a minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience.

Details

• Pediatric Cardiac & Transplant unit with Med/Surg overflow (Bloomberg 9N)
• Patient population includes children ages 0–22 years
• IMC-level RN role with float coverage to Med/Surg units
• Rotating 7A/7P shift schedule (12-hour shifts)
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Call requirement: 2 call shifts per schedule
• Epic EMR used (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 2 years in Pediatric Medicine
• Experience at IMC level and Med/Surg level required
• Ventilator experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• NRP certification preferred
• Experience at a large-volume facility (500+ bed count) required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• At least 1 prior travel assignment preferred
• Active licensure required

• Provides IMC-level nursing care to pediatric cardiac and transplant patients, with float capability to general pediatric Med/Surg units
