American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and night shift availability across multiple critical care units.

Details

• Critical Care Float Pool position within a large academic medical center
• Nurses float across multiple ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU
• Floating is required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekend nights (Friday/Saturday) plus one additional day per week
• EMR: Epic proficiency required
• Skills required: IV start, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management required
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing across a variety of ICU settings as part of a float pool model
• No 30-day break between assignments is required when changing representation at this facility
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
