American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an ER/ICC float position at an oncology-focused hospital, requiring at least 2 years of ER experience, prior travel experience, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based position with floating between the Emergency Department (ED) and an Immediate Care Center (ICC)
• The ICC is a smaller, less acute unit serving hematology, oncology, and sickle cell patients with both urgent and non-urgent presentations
• Common patient diagnoses include sickle cell crisis, fever, abdominal pain, uncontrolled pain, anemia, and nausea/vomiting/dehydration
• Most ICC patients are discharged home, though some are admitted; patients may arrive from radiation, infusion, or directly from home
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Epic EMR used; prior experience is required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Nurses in the ICC have the opportunity to build strong, ongoing relationships with oncology patients in a supportive, close-knit team environment
• Candidates changing representation do not require a 30-day break between assignments at this facility
