Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at an academic medical center in Ohio, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of experience on night shift.

Details

• Inpatient Med/Surg Tele unit within a large academic hospital setting
• Patient population includes General Surgery, Trauma, Vascular, Wound, and Plastics cases
• Estimated patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and intermediate nursing skills required
• Prior Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across General Surgery, Trauma, Vascular, Wound, and Plastics patient populations
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• No break-in-service required when changing representation between assignments at this facility (exception: Sterile Processing Techs require a 30-day break)
