American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric CVICU position in Indianapolis, IN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience and on-call availability.

Details

• New and specialized 8-bed CVICU connected to a 14-bed PICU within a hospital setting
• Cares for pediatric cardiac patients both pre- and post-operatively
• Works closely with a surgical team and intensivist team
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required
• On-call availability required
• May float to the PICU, general Peds, and NICU
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate surgical cases
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Indiana or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA-issued certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• NRP and NRP Advanced (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
• Full Social Security Number and US address required
• Driver's License required
• Two professional references required

Additional Information

• Provides pre- and post-operative cardiac nursing care to pediatric patients in a newly established, specialized CVICU
• Local candidates are welcome to apply; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be eligible only at a reduced pay rate
