American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Outpatient Clinic position in Atlanta, GA, requiring active PALS certification and experience with patients newborn to age 18.

Details

• Outpatient Primary Care Clinic setting serving pediatric patients from newborn to age 18
• Clinic visits include health checks, acute care visits, lab draws, vaccine administration, hearing and vision screens, and COVID testing
• Clinic team is staffed with RNs, LPNs, and Medical Assistants, with an average of 10 providers and 7–9 clinical team members daily
• Variable shift schedule totaling 36 hours per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday shifts run 0800–1630; Tuesday and Thursday shifts run 1000–1930/2030
• Schedule may include partial shifts (e.g., 0800–1200 or 1300–1600) based on daily staffing needs
• One evening/night clinic shift per week (0800–1830 or 1000–2030)
• Saturday clinic coverage required once per month (0800–1230)
• No on-call requirements
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licensure is not accepted
• Active PALS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — pending certification is not accepted
• BSN preferred but not required
• Two professional references from a supervisor level or higher, completed within the last 12 months, required for consideration
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• This is a nicotine-free campus; candidates will be tested for cotinine/nicotine
• A medication administration test is required; candidates must pass within two attempts or risk cancellation
