American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Inpatient Adult Psychiatric Unit requiring experience with involuntary status patients and de-escalation training, with both day and night shift openings available.

Details

• Inpatient Adult Psychiatric Unit in a hospital setting
• Two openings available: one night shift (36 hrs/week) and one day shift (36 hrs/week)
• Adult psychiatric patient population including higher acuity and involuntary status (IEA) patients
• Patient ratio of 1:6–7
• Epic EMR used; experience is a plus
• Schedules are posted approximately 4–6 weeks in advance

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with IEA/involuntary status patients and higher acuity psychiatric populations required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• AVADE, MOAB, or CPI de-escalation training required
• Two professional references from managers required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
