Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an inpatient Adult Psychiatric Unit, requiring experience with involuntary/emergency admission patients and AVADE/MOAB/CPI training.

Details

• Inpatient Adult Psychiatric Unit setting
• Both day shift (36 hrs/week) and night shift (36 hrs/week) positions available
• Patient population consists of adult psychiatric patients, including higher-acuity involuntary status cases
• Patient ratio of 1:6-7
• Epic EMR is used at this facility
• Schedules are posted approximately 4-6 weeks in advance

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• AVADE, MOAB, or CPI de-escalation training required
• Experience with IEA/Involuntary Emergency Admissions and higher-acuity psychiatric patients required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• 2 manager references required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Care model is patient-centered and team-based
• Experience with restraint chairs is preferred
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
