American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intensive Care Coronary Unit (ICU) position in Grand Junction, CO, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Intensive Care Coronary Unit (ICU) in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour nights per week (36 hours/week)
• Weekend availability required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• Epic EMR used for charting
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to start date
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care including health teaching, counseling, and treatment monitoring
• Documents patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN and unit-appropriate specialty certification are preferred
