American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Tuscaloosa, AL, requiring at least 1 year of recent ED experience and an active AL or compact RN license with no history of license violations.

Details

• Works in an acute care hospital Emergency Department
• Mid-shift schedule: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• Meditech EMR in use (experience not required)

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required — no pending or temporary licenses accepted; no past or current license violations
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent ED experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Two professional references from within the last year required for consideration
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Full SSN required for consideration

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rates with no radius restriction
• All ED RNs are required to complete an on-site competency test in addition to an online pre-test prior to starting
• No HealthStream modules required before the start date — competency-based modules are completed during virtual orientation
