American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical Oncology Telemetry position at a hospital in South Bend, IN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and strong telemetry or med-surg skills.

Details

• Work in a 10 South Medical Oncology unit with a heavy telemetry patient population
• Oncology-focused unit that also carries high-acuity telemetry patients
• Drip management and cardiac rhythm interpretation are expected competencies
• Charting is performed in Cerner
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (1900–0730)
• Every other weekend is required
• Every other holiday is required

Requirements

• Active IN or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Strong telemetry experience preferred; candidates without telemetry background must have strong Med-Surg experience and skill set
• Must pass a medication administration test and EKG test prior to starting
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include managing IV drips and monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms in an oncology-telemetry setting
• All scheduling and time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Royal blue top with white or royal blue bottom scrubs required
