American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring Epic proficiency and the ability to function in both pre-op and post-op settings.

Details

• PACU setting within a 104-bed short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center
• Patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:3-4 depending on care phase
• Capable of functioning in pre-op, post-op, and PACU environments
• Evening shift, 4x10-hour shifts (13:00–23:30)
• No weekend, on-call, or block schedule requirements
• No floating between units within this assignment; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• No parking fees

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of PACU RN experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs: any color accepted
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; requests should be disclosed upfront, as post-offer scheduling changes may be denied and could jeopardize the assignment
