American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Head & Neck Inpatient (Med/Surg) position at a major academic health system in Atlanta, GA, requiring specialized surgical nursing experience including tracheostomy and laryngectomy care.

Details

• Inpatient Head & Neck Surgery unit within a large academic hospital setting in Atlanta, GA
• Patient population includes those undergoing general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head & neck (ENT) surgery, including patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies
• 12-hour day shifts (AM)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active GA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
• Skilled surgical nursing background required, with experience caring for ENT/head & neck patients preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Former permanent staff of this health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning; candidates returning to the same facility must wait 18 months
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract if not falling on or near a holiday, or a maximum of 3 days if RTO falls on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract, and RTO must be spread out and not taken on consecutive days around the holiday period
