American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Liberty, MO, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience with IR crossover and on-call availability.

Details

• Hospital-based Interventional Radiology (IR) unit
• Candidates will be actively performing IR procedures
• Monday–Friday day shift schedule, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• On-call required Monday–Friday (4:00 PM – 7:30 AM), averaging 4–5 call shifts per month
• Weekend on-call required (Saturday–Sunday, 7:30 AM – 7:30 AM), averaging 3–4 call shifts per month
• 1–2 holidays requiring on-call coverage
• EMR: Altera Sunrise (formerly Allscripts), experience not required — noted to be very similar to Cerner
• No floating required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — Missouri (MO) or Compact license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience with IR crossover required
• Experience with IR call required
• Minimum 1 year of IR experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• New graduates will not be considered for this position
• Orientation spans approximately 5 days: Days 1–2 at the main health system, Days 3–4 clinical orientation at the Liberty location, and Day 5 computer/system training
