American Traveler is hiring a travel LVN/LPN for a Behavioral Health unit requiring a permanent MA license, BLS, and at least 1 year of recent LPN experience, with flexibility to float across multiple locations within a 35-mile radius.

Details

• Behavioral health unit setting serving clients across multiple community health locations within a 35-mile radius
• Day shift schedule, available as either 5x8-hour shifts (7:00–15:00) or 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30)
• Must be willing to float to all community health locations; advance notice will be provided for daily assignment location
• Weekend availability required — flexibility is essential as hours may vary
• May be required to travel and/or transport patients using a personal vehicle depending on daily assignment

Requirements

• Current, permanent Massachusetts LPN/LVN license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Must be willing and able to travel to all facility locations within a 35-mile radius
• Must have a clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions
• 2 professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed

Additional Information

• Responsible for full nursing process from admission to discharge, including client assessment, care planning, and discharge coordination in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
• Administers medications, performs treatments and therapies, and assists licensed providers with procedures and special tests
• Documents client care, coordinates client/family education, and maintains professional and ethical standards consistent with ANA guidelines
• Pass/fail EKG test required
• Candidates must live at least 200 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• First-time travelers will be considered, though preference may be given to candidates with greater scheduling flexibility and no requested time off (RTO)
