Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position requiring Epic proficiency and prior travel experience to work with oncology and hematology patients.

Details

• Hospital med/surg oncology unit setting
• Patient population includes oncology and hematology patients
• Experience with central venous access devices (CVADs) required

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact RN license required
• Active BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 prior travel contract required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license required
• One supervisory reference from within the last 2 years of employment or contract required for consideration
• Candidates must not have been employed by UnityPoint within the last 12 months

Additional Information

• Care for oncology and hematology patients, including management of CVADs
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the standard travel pay rate
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• Time-off requests are limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving holiday week (11/26–11/30) and the Christmas/New Year's holiday period (12/23–1/2), regardless of holidays worked
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
