Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric Cardiac & Transplant unit (Bloomberg 9N) requiring a minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience and ventilator experience.

Details

• Pediatric inpatient unit within a large academic hospital setting (500+ bed facility)
• Pediatric Cardiac & Transplant unit with Med/Surg overflow (Bloomberg 9N)
• Patient population includes children ages 0–22 years
• IMC-level RN role with float responsibilities to Med/Surg units
• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• On-call required: 2 call shifts per schedule
• Epic EMR (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• NRP certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric nursing experience required
• Med/Surg and IMC-level experience required
• Ventilator experience required
• Experience at a 500+ bed facility required
• At least 1 prior travel assignment preferred
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide IMC-level nursing care to pediatric cardiac and transplant patients, with float capability to Med/Surg units
• Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
• 13-week contract
