American Traveler is hiring an experienced EP Lab RN for an outpatient ambulatory cardiology clinic position requiring EP and device management experience, with Epic proficiency and a CA RN license in hand.

Details

• Outpatient ambulatory cardiology office setting, supporting the EP Device Division
• Adult cardiac patient population; consults and follow-up visits only
• Utilizes MURJ for remote device reports and alerts
• Charts in Epic (experience required)
• Day shift: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required and must be in hand (pending licenses accepted only if obtained within 2 weeks of applying)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of EP RN experience required
• EP technician experience and cardiac device management experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Supports the back-office Medical Assistant team with higher-level patient advice requests
• Responsible for triaging urgent patient symptoms and supervising stress tests
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; significant time-off requests may impact placement
• Any RTO or scheduling requests must be disclosed at the time of submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
