American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) position working nights with an adolescent male population and a minimum of 2 years of experience required.

Details

• Work in the Behavioral Health unit of a 337-bed psychiatric facility
• Adolescent male patient population with behavioral and psychiatric disorders
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to any age population is required when scheduling needs arise
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Sunrise for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license — Maryland or Compact license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience required
• Valid Driver's License (DL) and Social Security Card (SSN) required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• RNs may be required to serve as charge nurse during a shift
• Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland prior to start
• Navy blue scrubs required

• Maximum of 1 pre-approved RTO allowed during the contract
