American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical - Neuro unit position requiring community hospital experience and AHA BLS certification, with night shifts and every other weekend availability.

• Medical Surgical - Neuro unit in a community hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to other units is required
• Patient ratio of 1:7
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• AHA BLS certification required; NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• All certifications must be AHA-issued
• Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Travel nurses are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration
