Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR position in Tennessee, requiring a TN or compact RN license and at least 1 year of cardiac OR experience.

Details

• Work setting is an inpatient cardiac surgery OR unit with 8 cardiac ORs and 7 cardiac surgeons
• High-volume unit performing 9–16 cases per operative day, with 2,000+ cardiac cases annually
• Case types include open and robotic cardiac surgery (Xi and DV5), heart failure, and heart transplant programs
• Each case is staffed with 1 First Assistant, 1 CST, 1 Heart Holder RN, and 1 Circulator
• Schedule is rotating days based on an 8-week rotation
• Shift hours are 06:45–17:15
• On-call requirement of 12 shifts per 8-week schedule, each shift being 12 hours
• 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR or cardiac OR experience required
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
