Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a night shift travel contract in Sioux City, IA, requiring at least 1 year of rehab experience and an active IA or compact RN license.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit within a Level 3 trauma center hospital
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Mandatory Reporter certification required
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehab nursing experience required
• At least 1 completed travel contract preferred
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
• Candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributing clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care
• Prior travel nursing experience is preferred, though not required
• Travelers who have been employed by this health system within the past 12 months may not be eligible for this position
• Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
