American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Florida, requiring AHA certifications in hand and Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
• Floats to areas appropriate for skillset, including a nearby sister campus in Dade City
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required in hand: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required

Additional Information

• A mandatory 15-minute pre-shift huddle is required and is compensated time
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required or an approved declination form; booster is not required
• A copy of your COVID vaccination card is required for consideration
