American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Florida, requiring AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS, with Epic EMR experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) setting at a hospital in Zephyrhills, FL
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to areas appropriate for skillset, including Dade City
• Epic EMR used; experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required and must be in hand: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• A pre-shift huddle of 15 minutes is required before each shift
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Former permanent employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required, or an approved declination must be on file
• A copy of your COVID vaccination card is required for consideration
