American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience and both scrub and circulate skills.

Details

• 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week
• On-call is required for this position
• No block scheduling is available
• Epic EMR is used at this facility
• Floating is required; travelers are first to float and may float to sister campuses located within 15–20 minutes of the primary facility

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required; driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Must have experience both scrubbing and circulating in a CVOR setting
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Two professional references required: one from within the past year and one additional reference
• Full demographic information required for consideration, including: full DOB, SSN, RN license number, and current address

Additional Information

• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate fully into the unit culture — flexibility and a team-player attitude are strongly valued
• Orientation begins on a Friday; nurses must complete remote orientation and be physically present at the facility on that day to receive their badge/ID
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the start of the process, as the facility will not approve RTO after an offer is made
• Nursing school accreditation verification (ACEN, CNEA, CCNE, or FL DOH list) is required for consideration
• First-time travelers are not preferred; prior travel experience is highly recommended for this role
