Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring ICU experience, PACU phase recovery experience, and Cerner proficiency, with evening/night rotation shifts.

Details

• Hospital PACU setting with float coverage to the ICU
• Patient population includes pediatric PACU, Phase I and Phase II recovery, and pre/post-op patients
• 4x10-hour evening/night rotation with shift times of 1300–2330 and 1900–0730
• On-call required approximately 5–6 times per six-week period during day/evening hours
• 2 weekends required per six-week period
• Cerner EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• ICU experience required
• Pediatric PACU, Phase I, Phase II recovery, and pre/post-op experience required
• Cerner EMR proficiency required
• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum score of 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
