American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit position requiring PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• IMC (Intermediate Care/Step-Down) unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend coverage required; unit will direct weekend assignments based on operational needs
• Bedside cardiac monitoring for up to 8 patients
• Floating required to Telemetry and/or Med-Surg units as needed (float unit ratios are 1:5–1:6)
• Equipment used includes ultrasound IV, cardiac monitoring, and lift equipment
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, IMC, or Step-Down RN experience required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on the lethal rhythms section
• 2 supervisory professional references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
