Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 3 years of OR experience, RNFA background, and proficiency in spine, orthopedic, and robotic surgeries for a rotating shift contract position requiring call coverage.

Details

• Hospital operating room setting
• Rotating shift schedule, 5x8s, with shift start times of 6:00 AM, 8:30 AM, or 10:00 AM; Monday through Friday
• On-call required at least twice per week and every 3rd weekend
• Case types include primary spine, orthopedic, and robotic-assisted surgeries

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS, and PALS
• Insurance documentation required
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience, with recent experience in the specialty within the last 3 months
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant)
• Experience in primary spine, orthopedic, and robotic surgery required
• Associate's degree (A.S.) or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• Two supervisory references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
• Active, unrestricted license with no prior license hits
• Skills checklist for OR specialty completed within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• RTO is capped at 5 days; requests exceeding 5 days will result in automatic disqualification
• Candidates must have worked in the OR specialty within the last 3 months to be considered
