Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a major academic hospital in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience and an Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a large hospital setting
• Day/night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Shift rotation may be required based on operational needs, though preferred shift will be honored when possible

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required prior to any travel assignments
• A valid driver's license (DL) and Social Security card (SSN) are required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation, and an acceptable score on both is required
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not work at this health system's locations for more than 18 consecutive months, and must wait at least 6 months before starting another assignment at any of its locations
