American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step Down/Intermediate Care position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring at least 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Step Down/Intermediate Care unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes PCU and Med-Surg/Telemetry acute care patients
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Traveler placement is based on greatest unit need, either PCU or Med/Surg/Tele, matched to the traveler's skill set
• Floating required within skill set, including to other sites within 40 miles

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, both must be AHA-issued
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or acute care experience required
• Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Both Med-Surg and Step Down RNs are eligible to apply, as credentialing requirements are the same for both skill sets
• Local candidates are welcome to apply; however, candidates within the facility's radius may be offered a different pay rate
• 13-week contract
