American Traveler is hiring an LPN/LVN for a 13-week long-term care travel assignment requiring a minimum of 1 year of LTC experience and comfort with a high patient ratio of 1:44.

Details

• Long-term care (LTC) unit in a skilled nursing facility
• High patient ratio of 1:44
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Weekends required on an as-needed basis
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current LPN/LVN license required prior to assignment start (pending license considered for initial application)
• Minimum 1 year of LTC experience required; 2 years preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Comfort with a high patient ratio of 1:44 required
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Skills checklist required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; RTO requests made after placement will not be accommodated
• The facility maintains an attendance policy for travelers — missing more than two shifts in a 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review or cancellation
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Orientation includes pass/fail testing; candidates have one attempt to pass
