American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN with at least 6 months of home health experience for a 13-week travel contract requiring a NM or Compact RN license and MOAB certification.

Details

• Home health setting affiliated with a Level I Trauma, Teaching, and Children's Hospital with 554 staffed beds
• Patient caseload ratio of 1:5
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Charting performed in Cerner
• Mileage reimbursed at the federal IRS standard mileage rate within a 35-mile territory
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS and MOAB
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of home health nursing experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions accepted with a completed exemption form signed by a provider

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travelers will be required to complete a second set of fingerprints upon arrival for CYFD purposes, as patient homes may include children
• If MOAB certification is not already held, a 4-hour de-escalation course will be provided during the first week; failure to pass may result in contract cancellation
• RQI certifications are not accepted
• Black scrubs required
• Requests for more than 7 days off require approval
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Contracts and extensions must be at least 10 weeks in length
• Travelers who have worked 4 consecutive assignments or reached a one-year mark are required to take a 6-month break before returning
