American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position specializing in transplant and complex GI patient care, requiring a CA RN license and relevant transplant experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Specializes in caring for patients with liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases, including transplant recipients (liver, kidney, and pancreas)
• Also serves patients with complex gastrointestinal disorders and functions as a Med/Surg Tele overflow unit
• Night shift: 7p–7:30a (3x12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to other units as needed
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Transplant experience required, specifically liver, kidney, and pancreas
• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; those within 50 miles should inquire about local rate eligibility
• Former employees or travelers must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning in a travel capacity
• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
