American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Wound Care / Med-Surg position on a specialized inpatient unit focused on post-surgical and complex GI patients, requiring at least one year of nursing experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• 28-bed acute care inpatient unit specializing in care for adult post-surgical patients with weight loss issues, GI cancers, and complex non-cancer GI-related illnesses
• Extensive complex wound management is a primary focus throughout the course of hospitalization
• Procedures include PICC line care, TPN administration, and anticoagulation management
• Patient ratio is 1:5
• Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Every other holiday (EOH) required
• No on-call required

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina (or a compact license recognized in NC)
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience required
• Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred
