American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level II Trauma Center in Everett, WA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Details

• Located at the Pacific Campus Pavilion for Women and Children, offering comprehensive maternity services including a Level II NICU
• High-risk perinatal care unit featuring 19 L&D beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACUs, and a 7-bay triage area
• Staffing ratios: 1:1 in labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, and 1:2-3 in antepartum
• Triage is staffed with 3 skilled RNs per shift; 3 CNAs per shift support postpartum RNs
• 3–4 delivering providers, 2 CRNAs, and 2 Health Unit Coordinators available 24/7
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekends required
• Floating required to Postpartum and potentially to other facilities within the state
• No on-call requirements
• Charting via Epic (experience required)

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• Experience performing sterile vaginal exams (SVE) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates with experience in facilities handling 200+ deliveries strongly preferred; applicants from facilities with 100–200 deliveries will also be considered
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront; RTO requests made after submission or offer may be denied
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
• Scrubs: any color permitted except reddish-orange
• Parking is facility-paid
